As our new Junior Incident Manager you will be part of our Incident Management team, reporting to Group Incident Management Lead, Oliver Mørch. The role is focusing on managing incidents, ensuring full compliance, and driving operational excellence across all Nordic markets.

What will you do as Lunar Junior Incident Manager?

• Lead incident response as the primary point of contact - on-call inside and outside working hours - ensuring the right people are informed and acting fast when something breaks.

• Drive CX on-call operations: own scheduling, shifts, budget, payroll, and monthly meetings to keep the team running smoothly day to day.

• Build and maintain incident management processes, SOPs, and runbooks, and participate in FSA compliance visits and DORA-related major incident work to keep Lunar audit-ready.

• Explore and build AI workflows and automations that make incident management smarter and more efficient - this space is just getting started and there’s room to shape it.

• Collaborate across the bank - with engineering, compliance, Legal, DPO, and external partners - managing the service desk in Jira and running monthly Ultimo processes.

What are we looking for in you?

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a cross-functional, high-stakes environment and brings the right foundation to grow into incident management fast:

• Background in operations, compliance, banking, or a structured field where accountability, working under pressure, and navigating complex organizations are second nature.

• Calm, empathetic communicator who is confident at every level - from customer support to CEO - and brings a “I’ve got this” attitude to high-pressure situations.

• Comfortable in a technical environment: picks up new tools quickly, isn’t afraid to dig into data, and can hold a conversation with both engineers and compliance teams.

• Disciplined self-starter who documents, tracks, and follows up without being managed - structure is your default, not an afterthought.

• Believes in radical transparency and admits mistakes quickly so everyone can learn and improve.

• Experience with platforms like Grafana, Humio, Incident.io, Slack, and Jira is a plus.
