As our new Engineering Manager you'll join the Lending & Cashflow team based in Stockholm and Aarhus, reporting to Jesper, working to build and launch Lunar's first lending products and shape the credit experience for our customers.

What will you do?

• Lead and grow one squad either in Stockholm or Aarhus — setting the bar for engineering culture, building psychological safety, and making sure your people do the best work of their careers.

• Own performance and development for 5–10 engineers — through regular 1:1s, clear feedback loops, and growth plans that connect individual ambitions to what Lunar is building.

• Drive the successful launch of Lunar's first Lending product — working closely with your Product counterpart and GM to align engineering execution with business outcomes.

• Partner with product, design, and the Credit squad to shape the future lending engine — from overdraft prevention through to collections, your input will define what we build next.

What are we looking for in you?

• 2-5 years of experience as an Engineering Manager — you've led engineering teams before and know what good people management looks like in practice.

• A strong instinct for balancing people and delivery — you care deeply about your team and you know how to help them ship.

• Experience in fintech, lending, credit, or regulated environments is a plus — though a genuine curiosity about how credit products work will take you far.

• Clear, direct communicator who builds relationships across engineering, product, and business stakeholders — you bring people along rather than managing around them.
