IT Security Programme Manager

As we continue our journey to becoming the best everyday bank in the Nordics, we are looking for an IT Programme Manager to drive cross-functional tech projects with a focus on data management and AI-driven efficiency so that we can ensure a robust, compliant, and future-proof internal IT stack that supports our rapid growth.

As our new IT Programme Manager, you will be part of our IT Security & Support team, reporting to Danny Dario Winandy. The team currently comprises a group of amazing individuals working in Aarhus who are focused on building trust through frictionless security and operational excellence within the broader Tech function.

What will you do?

  • Operationalize Data Governance: Take requirements defined by our Legal and DPO function and lead technical projects to embed these into our cloud-based systems and internal IT stack.

  • Bridge DPO & Tech: Act as the primary translator between the Legal and DPO function and technical system owners, turning compliance "must-haves" into actionable project plans.

  • Orchestrate Cloud-Driven Projects: Lead the implementation of data lifecycle controls (retention, access, and deletion) together with system owners across a landscape of SaaS platforms and AWS-hosted tools.

  • Drive Diverse IT Initiatives: Take ownership of various tech-related projects in parallel with overseeing the data governance programme.

  • Stakeholder Management: Navigate all levels of our organization to build alignment, ensuring that system owners across all functional areas prioritize and execute on core IT requirements.

  • AI Integration: Proactively seek opportunities to apply AI in your day-to-day work to optimize project delivery and identify ways AI can enable and streamline identified business challenges.

What are we looking for in you?

  • The Project Maverick: 5+ years of experience leading complex IT or tech-driven projects, ideally in a fast-paced or regulated environment.

  • AI-First Mindset: You are genuinely curious about everything AI. You proactively seek out new AI tools and methodologies to work smarter and help the business scale.

  • Tech-Minded & Cloud-Native: You speak the language of the cloud (AWS, SaaS, APIs) and understand how modern IT stacks function in an agile setting.

  • GDPR Awareness: You have a solid grasp of data protection principles (like Data Minimization) and know how to translate them into practical technical solutions.

  • Execution Focus: You thrive on taking high-level policies and breaking them down into clear, executable roadmaps for technical teams.

  • Stakeholder Influence: Strong soft skills and the ability to drive alignment across different levels of the organization without needing formal authority.

  • Continuous Learner: You don’t wait to be told what’s next; you are always looking for the next technological shift - especially in the AI and data space - to stay ahead of the curve.
