As we continue our journey to becoming the best everyday bank in the Nordics, we are looking for a Head of Experience Design to lead our design team out of our Aarhus or Copenhagen office, oversee daily operations, and execute design initiatives. Your role is critical to ensure our products deliver delightful, human-centred experiences that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Reporting to our CPO, Gitte Roskær, you'll work closely with tech and product leadership while guiding talented designers to deliver world-class solutions and foster creativity.

What will you do?

• Lead and Grow a High-Performing Team: You will oversee the daily operations and management of the design team, ensuring projects are well-executed, meet deadlines, and help designers thrive. You will mentor, grow, and attract top design talent, fostering a motivated and highly skilled design organisation that feels a strong sense of belonging and purpose.

• Elevate the Design Process and Culture: Own and evolve how design operates within our product-led squads, embedding a culture of rigorous discovery and user validation. You will drive a culture within the design team by setting high standards and encouraging practices that foster creativity, collaboration, and quality.

• Champion a Unified Vision and User Experience: Translate our ambitious strategy – becoming an all-in-one financial platform – into a single, coherent, and intuitive user experience. You will lead efforts to create intuitive, delightful, human-centred, and transparent user flows and experiences that build trust and guide people toward their goals.

• Drive Measurable Business Outcomes: Your success is measured by the team's ability to move key business metrics. Your team will deliver design solutions that address our core user activation, engagement, and retention opportunities across both Consumer and Business segments.

• Govern and Scale the Design System: Own the evolution of the design system, ensuring it increases consistency and accelerates development and alignment across all teams, impacting our ability to scale efficiently.

• Act as a Strategic Partner: Be a peer to Product and Tech directors, moving beyond execution to fundamentally shape the product roadmap and business strategy. You will ensure design is a proactive force driving our objectives and initiatives.

• Foster Collaborative Stakeholder Engagement: Be a compelling storyteller and advocate for the user, capable of aligning stakeholders across the entire organisation, from commercial teams to the executive level. You will work closely with other department leads to advocate for design priorities and consistently meet user needs across products and services.
