The role:
As we continue our journey to becoming the best everyday bank in the Nordics, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to help drive & manage projects within payment infrastructure & transaction banking so that we can deliver state of the art payment solutions for our retail & enterprise customers across the Nordics.

As our new Project Manager, you will be part of our Core Banking team, reporting to either Michael Sproegel or Anne Rasmussen. The team currently comprises 8 amazing individuals working in/across Aarhus & Stockholm who are focused on payment infrastructure & payment products within the broader Product function.

What will you do?

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, from initial discovery and conceptualization through to successful execution and closure.
  
  

• Develop detailed project scopes, plans, and schedules, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  
  

• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective change management strategies across projects.
  
  

• Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering clear communication and collaboration in international settings.
  
  

• Prepare and present timely, accurate project status reports and updates to steering committees, senior management, and key stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.

What we are looking for:

• Proven Track Record in International Project Management: Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex projects within diverse international environments. 

• Experience working with remote teams is a plus.
  
  

• Expertise in Project Management: Strong foundation in project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), gained through both academic study and extensive practical application.
  
  

• Strong Technical Acumen: Ability to quickly grasp and apply technical concepts, understanding their impact on project delivery.
  
  

• Domain Experience in Technology or Banking (Preferred): Prior experience in the technology or banking sectors is a significant advantage.
  
  

• Relevant Project Management Certifications (Ideal): Certifications such as PRINCE2, Scrum Master, PMP, or similar are highly desirable.
  
  

• Proactive and Resilient: A proactive, curious, and confident individual who excels at navigating ambiguity, is not afraid to lead the pack, and drives projects forward by providing clear direction and motivation.
