As we continue to scale our impact, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Regulatory Specialist to join our Finance Department. As a Regulatory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our bank's compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will be a part of a regulatory team responsible for monitoring, interpreting, and implementing regulations to make regulatory ratios are calculated correctly and risks thereby can be mitigated timely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and evolving regulatory landscape, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the bank's adherence to applicable laws and regulations while protecting our invaluable bank data.

This position is located in Copenhagen or Aarhus and reports to our Finance Bank Director, Dianna Buck. Together with around 20+ brilliant finance enthusiasts, you will continue to drive successful and compliant processes at Lunar.

Your core focus will be:

• Prepare and submit regulatory ratios and reports accurately and within the specified deadline hereunder liquidity and capital-based ratios. 

• Stay updated on regulatory developments, assess their impact on the bank, and recommend appropriate actions.

• Outline regulatory requirements in relation to new products, changes in bank infrastructure setup, and reporting in general. 

• Collaborate closely with the tech side of the business when new infrastructure bits are built

• Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, participate in industry consultations, and represent the bank's interests.

• Develop, update, and communicate policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements.

• Perform risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement controls and mitigation strategies.

• Provide training and education to employees on regulatory matters, policies, and procedures.

To thrive in the role we believe that you have:

• A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, law, or a related field. 

• Proven experience as a regulatory specialist, or similar role in the financial industry.

• In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, such as regulatory ratios and reporting in general, COREP reporting,  and other relevant laws and guidelines.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

• Experience in regulatory reporting and familiarity with reporting tools and systems.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
