Our Data team is growing and we’re looking for an Analytics Engineer, a Data Engineer, and a Data Manager to join our team for continued development and improvement on the overall Data Strategy, how we manage data today, and most importantly, how we make data understandable for the organization.

We have grown by leaps and bounds since starting out in Aarhus in 2015 and are now considered a major player in the Nordics with offices in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Oslo, as well as employees working remotely across Europe.

As a Data Manager, you will be responsible for articulating and formalizing the Lunar data strategy and governance, acting as a key senior advisor to data accountable c-suite representatives with the aim to ensure the right level of data quality, meeting legal and regulatory obligations, and to drive new business opportunities.

You will report to our Head of Data Warehouse Wojciech Witowski and closely collaborate with the rest of the data team. Your location will be in the Aarhus office.

What you will be doing:

• Building a data governance framework
• Formalise Lunars Data strategy to align with our data ambitions
• Highlight and showcase the value and need for a strong data focus
• Work in close collaboration with the C suite to ensure the data strategy and bring valuable insights to the board
• Oversee the use of data and guarantee data compliance
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of our data, as well as make it easily accessible and actionable for stakeholders throughout the organization
• Define clear roles and accountability across the end-to-end journey of data

For you to be successful in this role, we believe that you have previous experience of:

• Collaborating with senior management
• Designing and communicating the data strategy
• Understanding of the data regulation/legislation
• Formulating data governance, policies, or principles for effective data management
• Driven or experienced with processes to embed data quality measures to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data
