Senior Accountant

With our extensive experience in banking, crypto, blockchain, and payment services, we're equipped to handle any financial challenge that comes our way. As our next Senior Accountant, you'll be responsible for handling accounting tasks across various departments and projects in a dynamic environment with plenty of opportunities to grow and take ownership of new and exciting processes.

You will be part of our Accounting & Group Reporting team, reporting to our Head of Accounting & Group Reporting Ioana Chiriguti. The team currently comprises 6 amazing individuals working in Aarhus, who are focused on managing and driving our accounting and reporting practices within the broader Finance-function, led by CFO Rie Ruby.

What will you do? 

  • Reconciliation of bank statements, account statements, etc.
  • Posting and controlling intercompany agreements.
  • VAT reporting and controlling.
  • Payments and invoice handling.
  • Ad hoc analysis for process optimization.
  • Process descriptions and SOP’s.
  • Part of exciting and various projects across the team.

 

Qualifications

  • You hold a degree in finance, economics, or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar position. Working experience within the Banking industry is a plus.
  • You are curious and proactive and good at analyzing and conveying financial information in a simple manner.
  • You have a structural way of working for handling an ever-changing environment.
  • You have good analytical and IT skills with hands-on experience and skills in MS Office tools, especially Excel.
  • You are fluent in English.
