A commercially and media savvy PR expert that is driven to find unique ways to engage media and customers with the story of Lunar. You will be responsible for PR & external communication for the corporate, consumer & B2B bank and will partner with stakeholders & channel leads to enhance, protect and manage the bank's reputation and support the growth goals of the business. As the department works cross borders this position will have a focus and require experience with the Danish market.

This role is crucial in how Lunar communicates its strategic messages to media (financial/business/ consumer media) to promote our brand and enhance the understanding of our banking capabilities. Combining industry expertise with a passion for understanding our clients supported by the skills to effectively manage our reputation, you will play a meaningful role in crafting our unique growth story.

• 4-5 years experience, ideally some with financial and banking services.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Danish + fluent in English

• Have a strong PR network with good agency and journalist relationships.

• Experience working across B2B & B2C audiences and paid/earned media.

• A keen interest in political and economic developments and how they affect markets and our stakeholders.

• Worked with reputational risk management, especially with confidential matters.

• Experience working in a multi-channel marketing environment, with a strong understanding of how PR can integrate with other channels.

• Be flexible and agile enough to work in a matrix environment, constantly having to find the best way to balance priorities alongside the tenacity and diplomacy to resolve challenges with a cool head.

• Good understanding of how priorities in DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) best intersect with corporate PR strategies.

What will you do?

• Create annual and quarterly PR strategies by partnering with business stakeholders and the marketing team to understand the business objectives.

• Proactively identify opportunities to generate optimal national or industry coverage and secure the right contributions from spokespeople to craft the right story.

• Generate thought leadership campaigns for targeted media and design an effective communication process by partnering with key stakeholders.

• Align PR plans with the overarching brand strategy to ensure the reputation of our brand, people and business is consistently enhanced and protected.

• Ensure PR is a fully integrated, optimised element of campaigns through partnership with the campaign team and across client groups – including strategy, story development, execution and reporting

• Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with key national and industry publications, broadcasters and other channels to promote the brand and positive awareness of Lunar.

• Manage our PR agencies; reporting on budgets, successful activities and have regular dialogues to ensure issues resolve with a high level of quality.

• Ensure we have robust procedures for approvals, issue resolution, crisis management and escalation.

• Will proactively support the PR and Marketing team to develop communication strategies and tactics related to ESG and other topics.
