Account Executive

What’s the job actually about?
Your core task is to sell our payment solutions. Your responsibilities include managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting leads, qualifying opportunities through negotiation to closing deals.
You will manage the sales process through forecasting, account strategy and planning.
We aspire to grow this part of our business and we would like for you to grow with it as it takes talent and will-power to achieve great results in sales. Our sales organization is newly established within Lunar. In this role, you will be part of our payment-sales team and you will be referring to our Sales Lead.
Tasks & responsibilities
Your main tasks include:
Prospect new leads by territory, industry, size and platform
Qualify inbound and outbound leads
Close deals by strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build relationships with prospective customers and partners
Making a lead plan to acquire new business clients and execute it, with an eye for sudden changes that might cause you to re-prioritize what to do
Being an integral part of a second to none sales organisation in a hyper fast moving company
You will be part of a growing B2B sales organisation and you will collaborate with multiple departments in Lunar

Your skills and experience
Your educational background is not important, but your level of experience is. Preferably, you have around 3-5 years’ experience from a similar role within the payment universe, e-commerce or a high-growth tech company
You have an understanding of the e-com and payment industry and the strategic players within our field.
Hunter mentality and results driven - background in prospecting and building pipelines
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to a fast moving and high growth company. Approach challenges with positivity, creative thinking and a growth mindset
You speak Danish on a native-level and you are proficient in English, both in writing and speech
Personal traits
You are ambitious with sales and is motivated by generating results
You are independent and good at taking initiative to get things done by yourself
You are persuasive and know how to adapt your communication style according to the clients you are speaking to. This way, you are easily able to connect with them.
