About you

You are a true fixer and troubleshooter and always see possibilities and solutions where others might see problems and dead ends. You are enthusiastic about taking ownership of and managing complex incidents and love to see things through. 

You have a flair for and desire to work with complex domains and distributed systems that are owned by several different teams and vendors. You are good at using your analytical skills and mindset to see the bigger picture and break the complex matters down into smaller sections and seeing them from a logical perspective in order to reach your goals. 

You are really excited about the opportunity to work with incident handling and problem management in a hyper agile startup environment, where no stone is left unturned. You have an agile mindset that drives continuous improvement for engineers and SME to detect and solve issues. 

So what will you be doing? 

As our new Incident Manager, you will be the main driver for coordinating and driving incidents of different severity when they occur. You will be responsible for coordinating squads work when they take any necessary steps to restore service and get the business back to operating normally as quickly as possible.

Your other responsibilities include:

  • Assessing the impact of incidents and writing communications to convey the business impact for Lunar and our users. 
  • Hosting post mortems to learn from incidents and prevent/mitigate future occurrences. 
  • Discussing and coaching teams on incidents and problem management processes.
  • Reporting to the FSA and securing internal and external communication.
  • Ensuring that Lunar is aligned with our SLA and incident processes as well as on-call planning. 

Your profile

  • You have +3 years of experience, ideally from the Banking sector or a tech company. 
  • You have a background in Business, Finance or Engineering. 
  • You have strong project and stakeholder management skills. 
  • It is not a requirement, but it is a plus if you have experience supporting IT teams or Operation Partners in resolving and coordinating high-severity problems, assessing impacts and identifying the root cause.
