The role 
At Lunar we are setting sails for a new revenue-generating-project - and you will be responsible to build the entire process - from strategy to implementation. As this is a completely new area, part of the job is also to set the right team.

You will report directly to our CMO, and be a part of our marketing team, and furthermore, you will work closely with our product and operations teams. This means that you must get along in a matrix organization where you influence and direct people.

Responsibilities & tasks 
Your key responsibility will be to build, run, and maintain our new Business area. 

Some of your tasks will therefore be to: 

  • Develop strategies for a new advertising platform with the main purpose to accelerate revenue growth through partnerships.
  • Find relevant partners to be a part of our Premium and Pro tier.  
  • Lead strategic deal-making efforts to improve our Premium and Pro tiers. Furthermore, pitch and close partnership deals and identify, negotiate and close awesome perks for Lunar Premium and Pro users. 
  • Create alliances with industry bodies.
  • Ensure we partner up with relevant and high-end brands that can help us grow revenue, brand consideration, and signups. 
  • Ensure all contractual requirements are met and adapted to local markets.
  • Engage with Product to ensure that the customer journey is frictionless.
  • Lead local extensions of campaigns with partners (stunts, guerrilla, content, digital innovation).
  • Account management on existing partners
  • Lead negotiations with existing and new partners with respect to licensing, product development, and commercial collaboration.
  • Understand and evaluate existing partnership 

Your profile
We are on the lookout for natural self-starter who see things through from start to finish. You are extremely analytical, have strong initiative, are a forward-thinker, and a team player. Your understanding of financial concepts is top-shelf material, and you enjoy crushing numbers. You love to have ownership of your own projects and because of your experience you already know how to maintain a good overview. You have experience from a similar commercial role, and this is not the first time you have one of the leading roles in a revenue-generating-project. In other words, you know the drill - strategy, develop, sell, maintain, and optimize.

You are a good connector and an effective decision-maker. Preferable you have worked in a fast-paced agile SaaS company or scaleup before.

You have experience in: 

  • You have at least 5+ years of experience from a similar position. Ideally from a company in hyper-growth either directly with partnerships or in a business development team. 
  • Defining and analyzing a market and with this understanding - build a product.
  • How to make pricing structures and business models.
  • B2B sales, marketing, and advertising. 
  • Communicating and presenting to both internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Proactive planning to achieve targets and objectives which deliver profitable outcomes for Lunar.
